- Jive & Expressive Dance weekender across two dedicated and spacious ballrooms. Also included, workshops, half board meals & accommodation.
After a good breakfast, we have workshops on Sat & Sun (across two rooms). From all levels of Modern Jive, Expressive, Blues and a range of other popular styles. All workshops are included in the package.
Our DJs & Teachers are experts who have worked at dance weekends for many years.
Evening dancing in two spacious ballrooms featuring Modern Jive in one room and Expressive/Blues in the other room.
Evenings start with a 3-course meal with a varied selection of food. You can choose who you wish to be sat at the table with or opt to be seated on a random allocation basis. Special dietary needs catered for.
The hotel is well experienced in dance events, having hosted a number of other dance style weekenders in the past. The hotel features free parking on a first come first served basis or nearby municipal car parking at a fee. FREE Daily room service & Wi-Fi.
Prices for the 2025 event are published HERE. No application form is necessary to make a booking. However, before a payment is made the booking must be approved by us first (call us on the phone or contact us via email). The Terms & Conditions stated in the application form are applicable to any bookings even if an application form was not used when making the booking.
T&Cs: We will refund the full amount of any money paid within the 7 days before you notify us (in writing via email jive@jivetime.co.uk and immediately followed up by telephone call on 01494 - 727344) your instruction to cancel your booking. Nil refund for money paid more than 7 days before cancellation. Please note that we do not accept telephone cancellations on their own (an email confirming teh cancellation must also be sent and received by us), as we cannot verify who is on the phone. Only cancellations for which you'll receive our email acknowledgement within 48 hours from sending your email to us will be refunded within 30 days where a refund is due. We believe that this is amongst the best, if not the best, cancellation policy compared to those available on other jive weekends, and, naturally, just as we did in the past, we will refund the full amount paid if due to covid the UK Government imposes restrictions that prevents the event from going ahead.

- By online or high street bank transfer from your account to ours - Transfer your payment online to our Account Number: 22841264, Sort Code: 04-00-03, Payee: Francesco Gareddu, Reference: your full name.
After you made your payment transaction, please email us a covering note (you need not to use the application form) stating your: Name, Surname, Postal Address, Landline and Mobile phone numbers. If available: Name of your guest/s and their email address. Please let us know if you have special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, allergies, etcetera.
- By Cheque - Please call us to agree payment by cheque/s.
- By Card - In order to keep prices low we had to minimise bank charges, which were a major issue with card transactions. However, we are aware that in order to manage cash flow some of you prefer spreading the cost by using card payments. So, whilst currently we do not take card payments, if you cannot make the payment amounts/dates requested here but would like to spread the cost of your booking to suit your situation, please talk to us, we would do what we can to help.
Our Refund Payments back to you, where these qualifies following cancellations, will be made via online transfer and within 30 days from receipt of your bank details (sort code and account number). We cannot issue refunds via cheque. Please note that we can only issue refunds to the people who made the payments in the first place. Therefore, unless there are serious circumstances, which we will evaluate and decide at our sole discretion, we cannot refund other parties even if related or close friends of the person/s who made the booking and paid in the first place.
